State Immigration director Kamalludin Ismail said upon realising the presence of enforcement officers, the foreign workers took off in all directions during the operation on Saturday between 7pm and 9pm."Some of the workers were even brazen enough to run across a road that had busy traffic," Kamalludin said in a statement on Sunday .
Kamalludin said they detained 21 foreign workers, including 19 women from China and two men from Myanmar, all aged between 28 and 50. "We first received a tip-off that the eatery was suspected of hiring foreign workers without valid documents.
