2 Malaysians in Sudan moved to safety

The Malaysian embassy in Khartoum has successfully moved two Malaysians in the Sudan capital to safety as fighting intensifies. – Facebook pic, April 21, 2023.

He said the operation was a preparatory step by the Malaysian embassy in Khartoum to gather Malaysians at a safe location for the evacuation process out of the capital city later. “Our officers also helped with moving two Canadians, one American and two United Kingdom citizens from the area,” he said in a statement.

Fighting between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces is reported to be worsening in most locations in Khartoum.
