SEORANG kakitangan dan seorang pelatih Pusat Pemulihan Penagihan Narkotik didakwa di Mahkamah Majistret Sungai Siput atas pertuduhan membunuh seorang pelatih pusat itu pada bulan lepas.
Kakitangan Puspen, Nur Aslam Faizal, 35, dan pelatih Suffian Effendy Kadri, 30, hanya mengangguk faham selepas pertuduhan dibacakan di hadapan Majistret Nurul Asyifa Redzuan dan tiada pengakuan direkodkan kerana kes bunuh di bawah bidang kuasa Mahkamah Tinggi. Mereka didakwa bersama-sama membunuh Mohd Ali Mohd Nor, 50, di Puspen Perlop di Sungai Siput pada kira-kira 10.30 pagi, 31 Januari lepas.
Pertuduhan dikemukakan mengikut Seksyen 302 Kanun Keseksaan dibaca bersama Seksyen 34 kanun sama yang memperuntukkan hukuman mati jika sabit kesalahan. Pendakwaan dikendalikan Timbalan Pendakwa Raya R. S. Vitthiyeswary dan Nur Aslam diwakili peguam Keshviner Singh manakala Suffian Effendy tidak diwakili peguam. – Bernama, 8 Februari 2023.
