KUALA LUMPUR: Najib Razak’s 1MDB trial has been adjourned for today as the former prime minister is down with an eye infection.
Fiat prosecutor Gopal Sri Ram then said prosecution witness Amhari Efendi Nazaruddin could not proceed to identify several individuals in the absence of the accused. However, Shafee said he is occupied on Fridays as he is leading the defence team in the murder case of Nazrin Hassan, the late CEO of Cradle Fund.This is the second time that Najib has been unable to attend trial due to an eye infection.
