SEOUL: Seoul Seobu police station said Friday (June 21) it has sought charges against a man for placing a plastic bag over a statue symbolising comfort women, the euphemism for the tens of thousands of women coerced into sexual slavery by imperial Japan during World War II.

KOTA KINABALU: A man and his five passengers were hurt after the bus he was driving plunged 50m into a ravine at Mile 9, Silam Road in Lahad Datu.

The team, led by operation commander Sumsoa Rashid, arrived at the scene, about 23km away from the station, at 9.40pm.
