According to its press statement on Thursday , Sri Aman, which is hard hit by the haze, had 10 water treatment plants – the most in the state – and the water reserve was low and at a critical level.The water supply in Kapit has been rated as good while Bintulu, Sibu, Miri and Lawas as acceptable."There are, however, several divisions where the water reserve level at the treatment plants is at a worrying state due to the dry and hot season.
On Sri Aman Division, it said that eight of its water treatment plants were operating at the minimum level. They included the treatment plants of Air Bayai, Pantu, Stumbin, Seduku, Lingga, Lemanak Development Scheme, Skrang and Engkelili.
