162 new Omicron cases detected from Jan 23-25

Health Director-General Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah says a total of 162 new Omicron variant Covid-19 cases have been detected between January 23 and 25. – The Malaysian Insight pic by Afif Abd Halim, January 25, 2022.

A TOTAL of 162 new Covid-19 cases categorised as variant of concern were detected between January 23 and 25, Health Director-General Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said. He said the Institute for Medical Research had identified 89 cases, Faculty of Medicine University of Malaya detected 71 cases and Malaysia Genome and Vaccine Institute two cases, all of which were the Omicron variant.
