Ketua Pengarah Kesihatan Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah berkata, daripada jumlah kes baharu itu, satu adalah kes import membabitkan warga Filipina yang mendapat jangkitan di luar negara, manakala 13 kes penularan tempatan semua membabitkan warganegara.
"Kes pertama adalah pelajar tiba dari Sandakan, Sabah yang akan memulakan pengajian di Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan. Kes kedua pula dari Penampang, Sabah yang datang ke Labuan untuk bercuti bersama keluarga," katanya dalam kenyataan, hari ini. "Sehingga kini, terdapat satu kes positif yang sedang dirawat di Unit Rawatan Rapi dengan seorang memerlukan bantuan pernafasan," katanya.
