"This is to give way for projects for the rakyat which are more urgent," the Prime Minister said when tabling the 12th Malaysia Plan mid-term review in Parliament on Monday .
"This is to avoid repeat incidents of wrongdoing and warnings reported in the Auditor-General's Report," he said. "In 2021, only RM64.3bil of development expenditure was spent while in 2022, the total was RM71.6bil," he said. Anwar also told Parliament that a special monitoring committee will be set up to keep tabs on the implementation of projects under 12MP.
