Ketua Polis Daerah Brickfields, Asisten Komisioner Ruslan Khalid berkata, serbuan dilakukan kira-kira pukul 11.40 malam oleh sepasukan pegawai dan anggota dari Ibu pejabat Polis Kontinjen Kuala Lumpur dan Ibu pejabat Polis Brickfields.
“Menerusi serbuan tersebut, sebanyak sembilan wanita warganegara Thailand, Laos dan seorang lelaki tempatan yang bekerja sebagai pengurus premis telah ditahan. “Turut dirampas ialah beberapa peralatan muzik, 10 kalungan bunga, enam buah mahkota dan wang tunai,” katanya dalam satu kenyataan di sini hari ini.
Tambahnya, kesemua suspek telah ditahan reman sehingga 15 April depan dan kes disiasat di bawah Seksyen 39 Akta Imigresen serta Seksyen 4 Akta Hiburan Wilayah 1992. - UTUSAN ONLINE
