Ketua Pengarah Kesihatan Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah berkata, berdasarkan siasatan awal, daripada 106 kes baharu yang dilaporkan hari ini, 43 kes adalah berkaitan dengan kluster perhimpunan tabligh di Seri Petaling.
“Sehingga kini, 64 kes positif Covid-19 sedang dirawat di Unit Rawatan Rapi . Daripada jumlah itu, 27 pesakit memerlukan bantuan pernafasan. “Ini menjadikan jumlah kumulatif kes kematian Covid-19 di Malaysia adalah sebanyak 15 kes. Kes kematian ke-15 adalah kes ke-1,519 iaitu lelaki warganegara Malaysia berumur 70 tahun,” katanya dalam sidang media harian terkini Covid-19 di Putrajaya hari ini.
Menurutnya, arwah mempunyai gejala selama seminggu iaitu demam, batuk selain tiga hari mengalami sesak nafas.
