Pengarah Kesihatan Sabah, Datuk Dr Christina Rundi berkata, menerusi jumlah itu, enam pesakit dirawat di Hospital Lahad Datu, tiga pesakit di Hospital Duchess of Kent, Sandakan dan seorang pesakit di Hospital Tawau.
“Selain itu, kami membuka enam pusat kuarantin baharu di beberapa daerah seperti Kota Kinabalu , Sipitang , Kuala Penyu dan Penampang , sekali gus menjadikan secara kumulatif 19 pusat kuarantin di seluruh Sabah. Sementara itu, beliau berkata, 10 kes baharu positif Covid-19 direkodkan hari ini selain dua kes dilaporkan, semalam.“Daerah paling banyak merekodkan kes positif adalah Tawau sebanyak 53 kes kemudian diikuti Lahad Datu , Kota Kinabalu dan Tuaran .
