1,750 counterfeit masks seized

Some unscrupulous people are taking advantage of the coronavirus pandemic by selling masks with fake brands. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, July 1, 2020.

THE Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs seized 1,750 counterfeit masks in an operation in Puchong yesterday. Enforcement director Iskandar Halim Sulaiman said a 30-year-old was also arrested on suspicion of selling the masks online.
