A village store close to the Limerick and Tipperary border has been revealed as the shop that sold Saturday’s Lotto Plus 1 winning ticket worth €1 million.
Shop owner Tom O’Halloran was delighted to hear that one of his customers won big over the weekend and welcomed the good news: “It’s sure to be a day of excitement here in Oola with the big announcement.“I think we are all eager for a bit of good news to be honest so this really is perfect timing. We have no idea who the winner could even be but it would be great if it was someone local.
“The winner will have lots of options for what they can do but the big thing for now is that we hope they check their ticket soon and really enjoy their big news.” The Lotto Plus 1 winner is advised to sign the back of their ticket and keep it safe. Ireland’s newest millionaire should make contact with the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their life-altering prize.Lotto players dreaming of joining the list of high winners for the year to date are reminded that tickets can be purchased in-store nationwide, through the National Lottery app or at www.lottery.
