While parts of the country saw the sun on Monday, it looks like a grim Irish summer is back.
Saturday night will be wet in the west, and the forecast for Sunday and Monday is for unsettled, cloudy days with rain and breezy wind.Unfortunately, next week is looking fairly unsettled too with cloud cover, showery rain and cooler temperatures.However, there will be showers and rain at times so it will remain slightly wetter than normal in the southwest, west and north while eastern areas will experience normal rainfall.
The first two weeks of July are looking good. Warm weather could see temperatures hit the high teens with patchy rainfall and clouds.
