Conditions are set to remain wet and windy this morning, with a number of weather warnings still in place around the country.
“Fresh to strong and gusty” winds will continue this morning and will be strongest along the Atlantic coastal counties where a warning is in place.A Status Yellow weather warning is in place in Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Donegal, Galway, Mayo, Sligo and Leitrim until midday today. Gusts reaching up to 90 to 110km/h are expected in places, and could be even higher in “coasts and exposed areas”.A gale warning is also in place until 5pm on Monday for all coasts of Ireland and the Irish Sea.
Temperatures will reach highs of twelve and fifteen degrees during the day but will drop to between 0 and 5 tonight. Conditions should remain “mainly dry”.
