However it's not all good news, as some areas will be hit by showers, particularly in the west on Sunday.A Met Eireann forecaster said: "Apart from isolated light showers it will be dry today with a mix of cloud and some sunny spells."Overall dry and calm tonight with clear spells. Lowest temperatures 5 to 9C.
"Sunday will gradually bring rain and drizzle into Atlantic counties, turning heavier into the evening. "Mildest, driest and brightest across the midlands and east with some sunny spells. Feeling mild and humid with highs of 16 to 19C , in mostly light southwest breezes."But experts revealed there will still be some patches of Autumn sunshine to be felt in some areas, with highs reaching 17C on both Monday and Tuesday.
A forecaster added: "Mixed and unsettled into next week with an Atlantic flow feeding in sometimes heavy falls of rain - currently most of this looks likely after-dark."Sunny spells and scattered blustery showers will follow for the rest of the day, but a few of those will continue heavy in the north and east. Feeling fresh with highs of 14 to 17C, in moderate to fresh northwest breezes.
