A 20-year-old man has been seriously injured following a hit-and-run incident in Dublin city last night

Emergency services attended the scene, and the man was taken to St James Hospital.Gardaí are examining the scene and local diversions are in place.

Gardaí have appealed for the driver of the car to come forward, and for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact them at Kevin Street Garda Station on 01 666 9400.
