Most parts of Ireland are experiencing a wet start to the week - but high temperatures are to hit by Thursday.But the weather chiefs are expecting temperatures to soar to 20C on Thursday, Friday and over the weekend.
A forecaster said: "Thursday will be a cloudy day with outbreaks of rain and drizzle, more persistent and heavier across Ulster and Connacht."Friday and the weekend it will be mostly dry, mixed with sunshine. There will be highs of 15 to 20 degrees."And a chilly night is in store for some parts of the country as temperatures drop to as low as 6C."Often dry but scattered showers will occur throughout the day. Highs of 14 to 17 degrees in blustery northwesterly breezes.
