The owner of a popular Dublin chipper is in shock after a thug chucked a petrol bomb in the door - narrowly missing her. Shocking CCTV footage has emerged of the moment the man appeared in the doorway of Zia’s Takeaway in Walkinstown, Dublin and threw the lit petrol bomb directly at terrified owner Bernie Di Murro who was working behind the counter on Tuesday evening.
But incredible Bernie managed to duck right at the last moment - with the ignited bomb striking the wall behind her and setting the place alight. She then immediately kicked into action - grabbing a fire extinguisher - as a shocked customer helped.
