Bloody Friday: 50 years since Belfast bombingsOn 21 July 1972, Belfast city centre was devastated with 22 bombs in around 80 minutes. That day would become known as Bloody Friday. The Provisonal IRA issued an apology in 2002 and said it had not been its intention to kill or injure 'non combatants' 22 Bombs but didn’t intentionally intend to hurt non combatants. Really!
