The mother of Mr Dunn broke down in court as her teenage son's killer avoided jail after a three-year fight for justice.
Earlier, Mr Dunn’s mother Charlotte Charles had said she was left"absolutely fuming" on learning the US government had advised her not to travel to the UK to face justice, making the sentence effectively unenforceable. "His passing haunts me every minute of every day and I’m not sure how I’m ever going to get over it."
The judge accepted that she felt genuine remorse. So much so that she stayed away from the proceedings and made excuses as to why the incident occurred in the first place.
Absolutely awful the UK government let this woman flee back to Usa after killing this young man if she was truly sorry she would come back and take her sentence if this was the other way around the USA would fight like anything to get this woman back
But yet the irish media doesn't call out the British military for killing nationals in the 6 counties and getting away with it though the legacy bill.
What a joke, RIP Harry.
They should free Julian Assange in retaliation immediately . Who can trust the US justice?
Bravo to his parents for keeping this in the spotlight. Shame the offender will not serve a day in prison.
