Image: UPI/PA Images SEVERAL WHITE HOUSE officials, including the deputy national security adviser, have resigned after pro-Trump supporters stormed the US Capitol building yesterday.

Deputy national security adviser Matt Pottinger, White House social secretary Rickie Niceta and deputy press secretary Sarah Matthews also resigned, according to officials. He declined to call out Trump or his allies, but the implication was clear when Bush said the siege “was undertaken by people whose passions have been inflamed by falsehoods and false hopes”.

Disloyal. Could have waited another few days until Trump leaves office. Got their money but made a gesture to distance themselves from the employer who gave them incomes with less than 2 weeks to go. Shameful.
