Saoírse Ruane's family took a moment amid their grief to attend a ball held in her honour on Thursday.
Sharing some lovely photos from the event, she said: "About last night... What a gorgeous evening being present amongst so many deserving winners at the Annual Cathaoirleach’s Gala Ball in The Clayton Hotel." "We gave great consideration to whether we would be able to attend this event or not and on reflection I think we made the right decision," she shared honestly.
"To Jessica, Ethan and the team Mixed Co Boutique for my hair and makeup. So grateful to all of you. The two very deserving charities for this years ball were Act for Meningitis and i4life.ie. Two amazing Galway based charities which I would urge you all to have a look at. As always thank you all for your phenomenal ongoing support."
