The family of the late Saoirse Ruane have warned well-wishers hoping to tune into a virtual month's mind to beware of clicking bogus links claiming to livestream the event.
She inspired the establishment of the RTE Toy Show Appeal after her appearance on the show in 2020 alongside host Ryan Tubridy. Galway Beo reports that her mother Roseanna has taken to social media to inform those intent on paying their respects virtually that her daughter's month's mind ceremony will not be broadcast live online due to heartless scammers who have used the tragic circumstances to dupe people into clicking fake links.
