After two years, Ryan was finally able to make it down to visit the family in Cork

RTE mainstay Ryan Tubridy teased his social media audience today when he shared that is has taken him two years to take a special trip down to Cork to spend time with a very dear friend.

He today explained that the friend in question is the inspirational Adam King and his wonderful family, who welcomed Ryan into their home in Cork today for the ling awaited visit."It took two years but we got there, coffee, cake and a hug from Adam" Ryan wrote, posting a video of him scooping the 8-year-old up into his arms for a hug as his family stood outside their home to greet him.

As a matter of fact, it's going to happen now," he said, before the Instagram story switched to a video of Ryan sharing hugs and high fives with the family. Since Adam's appearance on the show, he has become an inspiring figure for so many people across the country as his family share his projects with Adam's fans via their social media profiles Adam King Adventures.
