Michelle Doyle had struggled with her weight from her childhood, and had tried every diet in the book.As a mum of three young children, she focused her efforts on looking after them and turned to food as a way to unwind.However, last year she made the decision that she would finally put herself first."I tried fad diets, diet clubs, diet pills, exercise... I did everything. I could lose weight, but I could never maintain the loss.
However, as the country came out of lockdown, she realised how much she had lost herself and decided it was time to do something. It was then that she began to look into weight loss surgery. Michelle got weight loss surgery in March, and has since lost over seven stone. She says the difference in how she feels is immense."I appreciate things so much more now. Even shopping on the high street - that was never an option for me, I was always between a size 18 and 24. Now I'm a 14.
