RTE 2FM's Jennifer Zamparelli 'abused' on Twitter by fans of K-pop band BTS

RTE 2FM presenter Jennifer Zamparelli revealed she's being hassled on Twitter by die-hard fans of Korean pop band BTS.

It came after Lottie Ryan reported on the band taking an "extended break" during a showbiz segment on Jen's show.Speaking on her radio show on Wednesday morning, she said: "I got bombarded by what they call themselves as the BTS Army, the boyband’s fans basically, they weren’t happy with me, I was ‘spreading rumours’, OK fair enough it was on my show.

“And I cut it short because I was angry with you because I got bombarded by so many messages on Twitter.” She added that she understood where the fans were coming from as she herself was a massive East 17 fan once and was very jealous of Daniella Westbrook who was married to lead singer Brian Harvey. Our Irish Mirror Sports page - which brings you all your Irish and UK sports news - can be found here. The Irish Mirror Twitter account is @IrishMirror while our sports account is @MirrorSportIE.
