Kenmare flooded and scenic Ring of Kerry road 'impassable' after heavy rain

A popular Irish tourist town is partially underwater and roads are "impassable" due to heavy flooding in Co Kerry.

And the N70 road on the scenic Ring of Kerry is "impassable" between Sneem and Caherdaniel due to the severe rainfall. Cork and Kerry were drenched by rain yesterday as Met Eireann issued a 22-hour Status Yellow weather alert.
