Notorious rapist Michael Murray has issued us with bizarre new threats, as he’s further jailed over a hoax bomb threat against the Minister for Justice.

In fact Murray doubled down multiple times when interviewed by us from prison that month, telling us: “I am admitting to it openly. I’m responsible for it, and I’ll go after them again.” And today we can also reveal a bizarre new letter, handed to this reporter by Murray during his trial, in which he appears to make further nonsense threats.

“But with these things, they of course have to be treated seriously, and the right protocols were followed to ensure the Minister’s safety.” In our interview, conducted on August 4th, 2021, Murray told us from his jail cell that there would even be “more plots” against the Minister. “There will be more plots to the Minister for Justice. I was responsible for the minister for justice.”

Shocked at the fact that he was openly admitting to a crime, we again asked Murray to confirm that he was doing so. The court heard that Murray is due to complete a 19 year sentence for rape in May of this year - and then he is to begin a 16 year sentence for harassment and threats to kill. Judge Ryan told the court that Mr Murray is to take up the two year sentence after his 16 year sentence, which with remission he’s due to finish in 2036.
