Met Eireann's weekly five-day forecast shows a week of 'changeable' conditions meaning there will be rain and showers most days.
A Met Eireann forecaster said: "High pressure looks set to be a significant influence on Ireland’s weather as we move towards early September."It looks set to become quite settled with below average rainfall forecast nationwide, driest across the west and north of the country. Mean air temperatures are forecast to be slightly above normal."
Monday night will be generally cloudy night with patchy outbreaks of rain and drizzle spreading from the west. Some patchy mist and fog developing also. Mild and humid with lowest temperatures of 14 to 17 degrees in a light to moderate southwesterly breeze.
