Ireland's scorching August weather looks like it may make a comeback and even last into September with Met Eireann forecasting a pleasant turn in the next week.
A Met Eireann forecaster said: "After a mixed start to the week with rain or showers at times, it looks set to turn more settled later in the week with tentative signs high pressure will build near Ireland for the weekend."Temperatures are forecast to be near or slightly above average, warmest in the east and south of the country. Whilst there will be some rain early in the week, it is expected to turn mostly dry later with rainfall totals forecast to be below normal nationwide.
But it will be a mixed bag before the pleasant turn in about a weeks time, rain will hit a lot of places today and tomorrow but it will feel very pleasant when dry.
