Met Eireann are forecasting freezing conditions in the coming days with temperatures dipping as low as -4C.
A Met Eireann forecaster said: "A cold and frosty start there'll be icy stretches on untreated surfaces and scattered showers for the morning, some of the showers possibly wintry. Sunday is expected to be even colder with temperatures no higher than 3C during the day and dipping to -3C again overnight.
"Temperatures are expected to be between minus 3 and plus 1 degrees on Sunday night, coldest in the west with frost and ice forming. A light northeast breeze will keep temperatures just above freezing at the east coast.
