Met Eireann has issued a weather warning for five counties, warning of "torrential downpours" in parts of the country.
Met Eireann says there will be "torrential downpours in parts with lightning and hail" and lists travel related issues, spot flooding and lightning strikes as potential impacts.This weather alert is valid between the hours of 2pm and 8pm on Sunday.A Met Eireann forecaster said: "This morning will be dry with sunny spells and any mist clearing.
Tomorrow will see highs of 23C once more but, again, it won't all be sunshine and blue skies for the country. "On Monday night, showers will die out and it will be mainly dry with clear spells. A few patches of mist and fog will form with light easterly or variable breezes. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees."
