One man, aged in his 40s, was brought to University Hospital Limerick with non-life threatening injuries

Multiple Garda cars as well as the armed support unit were called to Lord Edward Street at 11pm after the alleged incident.A Garda spokesperson told the Irish Mirror: "Gardaí responded to reports of an alleged assault at a residence on Lord Edward Street, Co. Limerick last night, Friday 1st January 2021 at approximately 11pm.

"One male, aged in his 40s, was taken to University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
