Image: Sam Boal/RollingNews.ie MANY FLIGHTS ARE delayed departing Dublin Airport this morning as a result of the cold weather.
One passenger on the flight told The Journal they boarded the plane at around 6.45am and were still waiting to depart at 11.20am. They had not been de-boarded.
Who is responsible for providing de icing machines and staff?
I've no sympathy for anyone who is stuck in a airport or aeroplane for hours unless it's a business trip all the people wasting their money going on holidays and not supporting the local economy
The airlines are responsible for de icing their planes.
I've been at the airport since 6am for an 8am flight. We eventually disembarked at 12, no word from Ryanair since then about what is happening with our flight. Pilot is still in the plane on the runway
Gosh, it must be de climate change ting journal eh
It's December it's winter that's what happens,it get icy. Propaganda media spinning stories about the weather, every day so its in everyone's mind, your been brainwashed so they can push climate change.
Change the headline..... Flights are delayed because of even more stunning incompetence and lack of planning, with only 2 de-icers available despite a week's notice of the cold spell.
DublinAirport incompetence strikes again. How do they keep getting away with sub standard service?
It's embarrassing
First proper ice of the year and the plan goes to shit. Not enough due icing trucks and why no de-icing bay on a taxiway like other airports?
Dusting of snow and.....
PLEASE!!! that unnecessary plural is hurting my head!
Real headline. They don’t have enough rigs, cost cutting again which leads to mayhem
Etihad ey42 4 hours delay so far. Hundreds of connections lost.
