The CHI operator said that staff at children’s hospitals are going ‘above the call of duty’ to care for sick children

CHILDREN’S HOSPITALS ACROSS Dublin are under extreme pressure due to the high number of sick children presenting in emergency departments, and the number of very sick children already receiving care.

“We also have some very sick babies presenting to our ED’s who need acute care. We need to concentrate our resources on these sickest children,” Okafor said. A rise in flu, Group Strep A and respiratory syncytial virus cases has added to the pressure on the health service this winter.Invasive Group A Strepoccurs occurs when the bacteria gets into parts of the body where it is not normally found, such as the lungs or bloodstream. Though cases are uncommon, it can cause serious illness and be fatal.

‘Unknown’ point of departure claim made by 1,300-plus arrivals at Dublin AirportBetween January and July this year 4,404 arrivals were refused ‘leave to land’, meaning they were initially prevented from travelling through immigration Initially the operative word there 20 times that weren't refused. All criminals. Ironic that it's the King of the open-borders' fanatics, Conor Gallagher, who's reporting this. If he had his way, Dublin Airport would just have a set of swing doors, like a Western saloon. You land and away you go. 🙄

Seal spotted on dumped mattress in Dublin BayA seal has been spotted lying on a dumped mattress surrounded by other rubbish in Dun Laoghaire, Dublin Bay. Memeory foam or sprung? It’s terrible, but when a trip to your local bring site (assuming it takes mattresses) costs a fiver to get in, then the mattress probably 10-20euro then your fuel there and back… people are struggling fierce like. I’d never dump illegally but I see why some are forced to. Seal finds a comfier warmer ice floe. Result. For the seal.
