Kate Garraway 'lucky' husband is 'still with us' as she faces 'waiting game'

Good Morning Britain host Kate Garraway remains hopeful her husband Derek Draper will recover from his coronavirus battle.But Kate revealed how "lucky" she and her kids Darcey and Billy felt to still have their father with them, after a tough few months.

Amid fears he would never recover even after no longer having the virus in his body, he's gradually been showing signs of recovery. But Kate refuses to give up hope despite new challenges every week, and she revealed the positives of still having her husband in her life after fearing she was going to lose him.

"Challenges in terms of food, challenges with everything, lungs and everything, and we just want him to wake up.
