A little dog with a broken spine and rotting insides has been given a new lease of life after an Irish woman rescued him from the Chinese meat trade.
Henry “Wee Wheels” was saved by Armagh woman Sharon Warnock, 54, who paid €700 to have him flown over.Poor Henry was left disabled and rotting from the inside in a government animal shelter in Shanghai, China.But he was rescued when a volunteer spotted him and contacted Harbin Slaughterhouse Survivors, a group run by three teachers in China to save animals from shelters and meat trade.
