Galway pizza restaurant says coronavirus outbreak is 'no joke' as they close doors

A Galway pizza restaurant says the coronavirus outbreak is “no joke” and are asking the public to take the matter seriously as they close their doors .

In a post on Facebook, a spokesperson revealed the company had already taken several precautions such as card-only payments, spaced seating, wiping common touch points and not providing communal napkins/cutlery on tables. Addressing customers, the post read: “With schools and universities closing we were inundated with young people, who were in holiday mode. Ahh to be young. We all remember that feeling of getting out of school, our memory of it was the teachers strike. Remember that?

“Last night I seen videos of students in bars everywhere singing ‘F*ck the coronavirus’, some swinging off rafters in pubs. It is no joke.
