The former Cage Warriors champion is now a free agent after fighting out his contract and technically could fight Pimblett who is under contract with the UFC .
The 11-1 Irishman beat Fabian Silva by TKO in Dublin last week in what was the final fight of his Cage Warriors contract and he is hoping to be called up to the UFC now that he is a free agent.Should he make it to the UFC, he already has an opponent in mind and is convinced he could do some damage to 'Paddy The Baddy' and is more than open to the prospect of fighting the 29-year-old.
"I’m not a huge one for beefs and all, I only do it when it’s legit, it’s not no fake stuff,” Hughes insisted. “I just always think he has a stinking attitude, being around him in Cage Warriors days coming up.
