Here is the full list of COVID regulations that will come into force on Thursday after today's cabinet meeting. COVID19Ireland

Cabinet has made its decision on Ireland’s next steps towards normality following a meeting on Wednesday.

From Friday, those who are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 who become close contacts, but aren’t showing any symptoms of the virus, won’t be asked to carry out the five-day isolation period. Another big change will see everyone else have to isolate for seven days rather than ten if they contract Covid-19.

“It reflects the progress that we are making in terms of our fight against Omicron and Covid-19 more generally.
