Heralding the return of the (new) roaring 20s to Dublin 4, Dorian is all about good food, good wine and good company 🍷

The world has reopened and so too have our social diaries. With so much happening around the country, it can be hard to narrow our weekend plans down… enter the IMAGE Weekender guide, where each week we’ll be suggesting somewhere fun, cool and different to check out.Located in the space previously occupied by Roy Fox greengrocers, you’ll find Dorian at 49A Donnybrook Road, Donnybrook, Dublin 4.Open as of November last year, Dorian is only really coming into its own now.

The drinks are the real standout, though. Boasting an extensive wine list of over 60 wines – 20 of which can be sampled by the glass – their own self-titled wine is well worth trying and comes especially from a vineyard in Burgundy, France. Mixologist Dorian Pappalardo heads up the cocktail list. Inspired by the speakeasy classics of the prohibition era and Victorian Britain, signatures include Dorian’s Pineapple Margarita or the Pink Lady, made using Glendalough Rose Gin, Italicus and lemon juice.Date night, girls’ night, long-overdue catch-ups with friends – Dorian is suited to all manner of occasions, though it’s not necessarily the best setting for little ones .
