Eoin Doyle reckons Alan Reynolds will be a hit at Bohemians - AFTER Friday’s derby against Shamrock Rovers.
“What a character,” he said at the launch of Darkness Into Light 2024, the annual fundraising event organised by Pieta and supported by Electric Ireland, which is taking place on Saturday May 11. “The next thing, I hear the whistle going and I look over and it’s actually Rennie standing over the referee, blowing the whistle to stop the game himself.
The former Cardiff City, Preston and Bolton man hung up his boots last year after returning home for a spell with St Patrick’s Athletic. “I’ve been at all the Rovers games in Tallaght and all the Pat’s games in Inchicore, thankfully they can’t play at home on the same night,” said the 36-year-old.“I’m looking forward to it, I’m sure the new Bohs manager will be announced before then, typical derby. 3-2 Rovers is my bet.”
