700,000 sachets of lubrication will also be distributed as part of the campaign

The HSE is to spend €176,000 on distributing free branded condoms and lubricants to prevent crisis pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases.

The contract requires Pasante to deliver approximately 1.5 million packets of condoms to a HSE storage facility in Kilcohan, Co Waterford, each year as well as 700,000 sachets of lubrication.The customised products will be branded with the HSE logo as well as promoting the service’s website – sexualwellbeing.ie and the Gay Health Network’s site man2man.ie.
