A Jet2 flight travelling from Benidorm to Ireland on Monday was grounded for a short period after landing following a health scare on board the aircraft.
After facing the lengthy three-hour-plus flight, weary holidaymakers on their way back home were delayed by more than an hour as the aircraft crew waited for port authority officials to arrive.READ MORE: Experts identify best day in the week to book your summer holiday flights in Ireland Jet2 subsequently apologised to their customers for the delay, confirming that Port Health officials boarded the aircraft following the reports.
"Customers have now departed the aircraft after a short delay, and we apologise for any inconvenience."
