Ok Greg, don't leave us hanging...

As the list of contestants heading on the winter series of Love Island this year was announced, we couldn't help but notice that there was nobody waving the flag for Ireland, unlike in other years.Last year Greg himself revealed that one contestant had approached him for advice before heading on - and now it seems there is another doing the same.

Speaking to Her, Greg revealed that a Love Island hopeful has been in touch with him as they may be heading to South Africa as the show starts. He said:"Jack Keating was the person who got onto me last year, obviously enough and there's been one person that's been onto me, one Irish person."It's a girl but she's unsure now whether she is actually going to be going in. She got a message the other day saying it might not happen.

"It's not my place to say, they are still looking in the Irish pool which is amazing because how good was Maura Higgins on the show? She completely turned it all on its head - I came in and won it so Ireland have something to do and we still have a role to play in Love Island. "I'm hoping there will be a couple more, and also keeps them interested. If they want to be friendly with us, they want to keep us interested."
