Garda In Critical Condition In Hospital Following Crash In Co Cork

Gardai are appealing for witnesses after an officer was critically injured in a road crash in Co Cork.The car was helping a broken-down car at the time.The injured garda is in critical condition at Cork University Hospital. The driver of the other car is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigating gardai are appealing for anyone with video footage, who was travelling on the N25 between 6.30 and 7 o'clock yesterday evening, to contact them.A Garda has suffered serious injuries and has been removed from the scene to CUH in critical condition.
