Bottles of whiskey, rum, and motor oil were seized by gardaí on patrol on Tuesday

Gardaí have appealed to the public in the hopes they might be able to get bottles of alcohol, tools and some motor oil back to their rightful owner.

After searching the rear of the vehicle, Gardaí noticed that there were a number of stolen items stashed, including numerous bottles of Captain Morgan rum, Bushmills, Jack Daniels and Jameson whiskey, Cîroc Premium Vodka, bottles of motor oil and a Halfords ratchet and spanner set.All of these items were seized by the officers, who subsequently arrested the driver, with investigations into the incident ongoing.
