Organisers say it is the first major indoor exhibition to take place since restrictions were implemented due to the Covid-19 pandemic.150 exhibitors are taking part in the event.
Organiser of the Permanent TSB Ideal Home Show, Sean Lemass said they normally have about 27,000 people over the four days.They have put a number of extra measures in place, he said, such as asking everyone for Covid certificates and that they wear a mask.He said they are seeing big interest in energy saving, retrofit for homes and alternative energy such as solar panels.
There is no point of organising such large shows unless we hire large Chinese & Russian construction firms to build us 2 mln of affordable high-rise apartments. Our tiny low-skilled developers cannot compete with them on price, quality, scale, and speed.
